Welcome to the website of the Arizona Cowboy Mounted Shooters Association, the oldest club and direct offshoot of the National Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association.

Who We Are and What We Do:

ACMSA is a not-for-profit Corporation  whose objective is to organize competitions and build mounted shooting.

The benefits earned by the Club go back to shooters in the form of paybacks, prizes and lower fees.

Members are encouraged to help at Club events and projects.

We support the charity of "Horses Help" where a portion of our proceeds goes to Community health using horses.

ACMSA actively recruits, trains and mentors beginning mounted shooters. We have many members ready to make new friends and train beginners in a low pressure atmosphere.  We also have over ten of the top trainers in the sport working out of this area.

We endorse the NRA and Gun Safety training programs.

Our Accomplishments:

ACMSA is the oldest mounted shooting club operating in the birthplace of Mounted Shooting. x

Our members developed the World's First Mounted Shooting Center at the Ben Avery Shooting Facility in Phoenix, Arizona.

ACMSA is the home of World Champions and recreational Mounted Shooters.

We have organized  hundreds of Competitions plus exhibitions, training events and fun parties.

Cowboy Mounted Shooting is one of the Fastest Growing Equestrian Sports and we welcome everyone to come join in on the fun!   Our wide variety of  participants range from leadline children, beginner, intermediate and advanced Shooters to  World Champions. With a quick email you can get help on how to start this fun, fast and furious sport.   xx
