FAVORITE THINGS!
SHORT LIST taken from a LONG LIST...
First Up is my favorite cowgirl singer TEMPLETON
THOMPSON! My friendship with Tempe is one of those Serendipity moments
that rarely happen... I came across her in an internet
search last year. Her music, songs and lyrics spoke right to my horse lovin
heart. I fell in love with the song "Girls and Horses" and
wanted to create a slide show with it to feature some of my favorite girl and
horse pictures in it. Once created I posted it on the Western Shooting
Horse Network. Sent the Link to Dee Dee Trichter and from there the
wheels started spinning.....
Denny Chapmen helped Dee Dee get in touch with Templeton.
She wanted to invite her out to Texas for her Ladies Trail ride. Tempe came out with her
husband Sam and from there an incredible friendship with the Trichters
blossomed. Tempe is now into Mounted Shooting and I finally
got to meet her and spend a week with her and Sam at the Trichter's Ranch
during the Celebrate Bandera Festivites. I love her, love her
spirit, faith and her music. So if you have not

Isn't it cool that there is a bounty of Gun and Pistol Jewelry for us Mounted

My friendship with Tammy is another one that I can thank
the Trichter's for! I just love this lady when she is Tammy and I love her

Some
FAVORITE PEOPLE: This brings me to Gary & Dee Dee Trichter.
Since they are responsible for the first two favorites! I am so blessed to
have them in my life! Bob and I met Gary and Dee Dee in 2005 at the Texas
State Mounted Shooting Championship. Back then Dee Dee and I were both
Level 2 shooters and we were battling it out against each other in 105 degree
heat with 100% humidity. We ran six stages in that extreme and miserable
heat!!!! I think the only reason I ended up with the Buckle is that Dee
Dee was overcome with heat exhaustion. She still tells me that I have her
buckle......
Most of you know Gary better as Buffalo Bill Cody.
His generous heart and gracious manner are a living tribute to the "first"
Buffalo Bill. Dee Dee and Gary make their home on their ranch in
Bandera, Texas in the
The Hill Country of Texas another one of my favorite things and my
heart sings when I am there!!!! Celebrate Bandera is also on my list! I have had the pleasure of participating in Buffalo Bill's Wild West
show for two years in a row. I am Belle Star the Bandit Queen and I get to
