ACMSA CLUB MEMBERS WIN at WORLD! ACMSA was well represented at the CMSA World Championships held in Las Vegas, Nevada. Over 30 members competed at the event held at the South Point Equestrian Center November 14-19, 2007. Winning their classes, receiving buckles and money were Melissa Dragoo/ Junior winner and also Reserve Overall Cowgirl, Bob Morris / Men's 2 winner, Jana Morris / Ladies 3 winner, Diana Olson / Ladies 4 Winner, Lily Rodgers / Senior Ladies 4 and Jim Rodgers/ Senior Men's 6 winner. Taking Second place were Susan Turner / Ladies Class 4 and Evon Looper / Wranglers. Placing fourth were Pat Morris / Men's Class 3 and Lydia Dressel Ladies Class 2. Diana Olson and Jim Rodgers also made the Top Ten of the Colt Eliminator World Point Finals with Jim taking second, and Annie Bianco-Ellett made the Top Ten of the Pro Class. Annie's horse Maverick (out of her World Champion Horse El Costa Prom) won the Futurity and was the Overall Champion He was ridden by Dan Bryd. Year end awards given out on Thursday night found Diana Olson and Dan Byrd as the Southwest Regional High Point Winners, and Dawn Morris & Dan Bryd as the Arizona High Point Winners. Jim Rodgers was in the Top Ten Overall High Point Cowboys, and Diana Olson was one of the Top Ten Overall High Point Cowgirls. Congratulations to all of the ACMSA Club Winners! |
